1959 Lincoln Continental MKIV Convertible

General Description

Here are some pics of my latest toy, plus, I also added a couple of pictures of my 78 Custom Diamond Jubilee Edition.
I bought the convertible last December and have spent much time in it's restoration.
I still have alot to do on it, but compared to what it was when I bought it, it is much improved.
It was not running and most of the electrical did not work when I got it.

I just finished painting it a month ago.
The color is my own mixture.
The car has 72,000 original miles and not one bit of rust, anywhere.
I really lucked out with this one as I paid very little for it.
I have been offered twice what I paid for it but, it is not for sale.
Left to do is the interior, the exhaust and install the outside chrome mouldings as soon as I get all of them.
The dark blue convertible is the product of my photo editing hobby.
It has the 78 mark v diamond jubilee front clip.
The Diamond Jubilee is for sale.

Comments

They are both simply beautiful cars! I'm partial to the 78, but would kill to have either one (not literally) In my humble opinion, you should not sell the 78. Just keep both. :)
