I'm VERY interested in this^^ I really wish I could add more flare my gen 2 LSE side skirts at the corners.

I'd be curious to see the gen1 LSE side skirts with a little less flare at the corners. Kind halfway between mine and yours...
Are these worth a look or are they junk?

I actually think it is junk, it's the same garage door weatherstriping that everyone is raving about that they get from the home depot

Man that's some good prep work. My car is in the dam shop still. Found out dude been BSing with me about going ahead and getting it finished. I'm so dam pissed right now. The funny thing is he's done painted the car.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm lucky the owner of the shop that this is being done at is my friend.
The prep work is amazing he wants the car to be finished show quality because his shops name is going on it. After a complete pre-sanding of all the parts, the parts are being "black" primed and "white" spotted so any irregularities can be seen and taken out. The work on the hood to get it perfect was almost 6 hours and the trunk lid will be the same. The hoods had some dimples from we figure when the car was exposed to a hail storm and the alluminum hoods are thin at best compared to todays manufacturing. All the primer materials and paints to be used will be glasurit - they say they wont spray it in anything else

4 months. Thats the deal. I tore it apart, they use it as a filler . They got real busy and my ride went on hold. They have slowed down so now they are on it. To be honest with you I'm not in a rush. I would like it done but I dont want to take it out in the snow out here. I figure It should be all done and re-assembled by end of March. Then I have all the new parts to put on lowering kit, strutts, breaks, sway bars, break lines, stereo system, mount the new N3000 240/40/18 on the new wheels . I have bought new adjustable rear links, etc. When the spring hits it will be ready for the strip.
Oh and I went with your colour, the new Lincoln Tuxedo Black

Yea since November.
Well I discoverd a chip in the lower windshield today and decided that it would be better to change out the windshield now before painting. If you look closely at one or two of the pics you can see where the whiper blade heater wire connectors are located and the removal of the rain sensor took a bit of messaging but we got it off with the help of a local glass repair specialist. With the front window out we are now sand blasting all along the window frame opening to make sure that no rust ever starts and to make sure we get good paint adhesion around the front window frame. Sun roof will come out later today. The entire car will be primed and blocked tomorrow after we finish the base sanding and stripping.

how is that an lse with a 6 cylinder motor not an 8 dident know they came 6
They did. The LSE was just an appearance option.
Found a crack in the passenger fender at the bottom just where the profile changes after the trim recess. Going to call in a local old boy that is talented alumimun seem welding. Besides that the blocking and sanding goes on so much so we are working until about midnight our time in hopes we can prime in flat black tomorrow morning.

Primed and Ready for Blocking
Ok so after three coats of flat black Glasurit primer she is ready for three hours of baking, two days left standing to harden so we can start blocking. We are going to block the panels then re-prime lightly to make sure we got it flat and straight. No screwing around when you go black it has to be perfect!!
