I have to in good condition h I d headlights the clear lenses from a 96 mark viii lsc. Very rare and hard to find. I am asking 500 dollars for the set. These are lenses only. You may email me or contact me at 3175231805 my name is james

Glad someone said it. I have 170 bucks in my pair. When I was looking for a set, a member offered me a brand new set for $500. I also remember a member here couldn't get the $300 he wanted for his. Just sayin.....

I paid 200 for the set I had. If he wants that much for them he needs to put them on the eBay.

Only 2 posts, nobody knows you, $500, no pics. It's unlikely it will happen here. eBay is your best bet like mentioned above if you want that much for them.

chris, i think the seller started 2 threads saying pretty much the exact same thing. i think you responded to the other post.

Yes they are also on ebay and I have gotten 500 dollars out of the old set that I've already sold. N you don't want the ballast or the bulbs they r outdated and r DC current & the new aftermarket ones are much better.

You are not going to see 500 for them on here. Your not telling anyone here anything new about the HID's good luck with you eBay auction.

Haha, I sure as hell would want the bulbs and balasts if I was spending $500..I bought my lsc lenses with the original working bulbs and turned around and sold the bulbs for $200..the lenses alone aren't worth that much..you are just price gouging big time!

damn you got all that for 200? lucky find. i'd love to get a set of hid lenses, eventually i'm going to need a new pair of headlights. more time for me to save up and look around

No, I bought them on ebay as well for $500 but I knew I could make some money off the 9500 bulbs so I thought it was worth it.

I waited forever. Looked for a set on the low for 5years. I finally scored a set from KK. The back of the housings were broke all to hell. Lenses were brown. Got em for 50 bucks and paid Jaime 120 to put the lenses on a halogen housing that he chromed. He buffed all the scratches and yellowing out. Then I sold my old light for 120.

Really? How did that work out? I had another set of lsc lenses that were hacked up on the back of the housing and I planned to do the same thing..take the lenses of the hid housings and put them on some halogen housings..but when I asked about doing that on the .org forum someone came up with an interesting response..the halogen housings have no perforation on the reflector, they are just smooth because the lenses are perforated instead..so if you combine the clear lenses from lsc housings with a halogen back there's nothing to "refract" the light and aim it.

This steered me away from doing it, but I'd like to know how it worked out..how were they at night?

.org is full a dipchits. How many peeps have hids in halogen housings on here? I have pics. Go to search and type in Lou Gherig. You will find my thread on them. Edit: I bumped the thread in the mark section for you.

the LSC ones have no perforations or ridges or anything either. lens or housing.

Yes they do..the Chrome reflector on the lsc housings has a bunch of ridges in it. The halogen housings do not, they are smooth.

I'd post a pic of both..but I'm too lazy to upload it to Photobucket..take my word for it..they're different.

Take my word for it. It don't matter. They light up and show the road great.

I believe ya..sh*t mine light up street signs like I've got the brights on, and they aren't even aimed high.
