cheapest and easy way to improve the performance on my 2003 Lincoln ls sport
im going to do cool air . nut i know that wont get me that much. what else can i do ... looking to spend no more than 1500 all together no labor cost( i got a guy)

You'll mostly be told that, "Search is your friend." But let me see if I can get you started. First, the two most common modifications are an opened-up induction tract, and a cat-back exhaust system. I've done both, and found no improvement in performance, although the sound of the car improved very significantly. So I'll make other suggestions.

Improvements should be chosen to work together. Therefore, get a nitrous oxide system and an SCT tuner. With the two, you can safely have an additional 100-150 horsepower/torque, and you can do so within your budget.

Now do some study. It'll raise other questions. Come back with those and we'll have an on-going dialogue.
