Here is the new toy.

2004 Electric Blue Dodge Neon SRT-4. 2.4L Turbo 5sp. 34k on the clock.

I test drove one several years ago and absolutely fell in love.

I sold the Vic a couple weeks ago and as some of you may have read I was looking for a daily driver that was #1 fun to drive, got decent gas mileage, and didn't absoutely kill me in insurance.

I had been looking at subaru's and other turbo cars, but for the amount of money I could afford to spend, it was just not anywhere near what I was looking for.

I finally ended up with this beauty. The KID looked at it for me before I made the 450mi trip to Minneapolis, MN on saturday to pick it up. Thanks again Brandon! When I first got it, it was absolutely trashed. The wheels were pitted and stained, interior was filthy, had a NASTY carbon fiber hood on it that looked like it had been through 10 sand storms. I ended up trading for a stock Eblue hood last night, clay barred and waxed it today, and this is the final product.

After driving the car for almost a week now I know I made the right decision.

I dont plan to mod it too much, leave the stock turbo, maybe CAI and 3" DP in the future but nothing crazy. Window tint will be first though lol.

Neon's aren't my favorite, but those turbo's are quick! I like the color, too. Should be fun!
 
Good for you. not my thing though. My boss is a big fan of his red one. Spends all his time on the forums. I'm glad i'm not like him. :D

I got to drive Chris' new car, and even though it is a Neon its a pretty damn fun one!

It looks 1000x better already Chris... no replace those trashed floor mats :D

He stole that thing...

Its a cool little car, id pimp it. Great color choice too. If it still has warrenty and you want a truley plug and play, no tuning required upgrade then get the Mopar packs they have. I think the stage 3 makes 300+ HP.

They are fairly cheap for what you get too AND they keep the warenty in tact. :)

The car really only need a down pipe, CAI, injectors and a tune so you may be able to piece it together even cheaper.
Since the car has no mufflers there is no need for an exhaust.
 
Where`s the ricer car???? All I see is an American made front wheel drive monster. Those little cars are Brutes!

At least you got the nice seats...

I liked them until every GI on the effing planet owned one...

Good color... Looks better than the Kid described. I should have went on that trip...

Dude it was dirty as H E C K ... and it had this chalked up nasty CF hood that look like :q:q:q:q...

If I had $8500 in the bank that car would have gone home with me, I woulda detailed the piss out of it and flipped it for $12k :D

PS, I wouldn't do that to a fellow LVCer...

actually I have been using that floor mat for like the last 5 cars lol. Its huge and covers everything on the drivers floor. Ill clean it one of these days lol.
 
Be a man Rice the hell out of it. ... Then when you are tired of it you can sell if for 10 x it's price to some Kustomizing Kid LOL....

Put a big fart can on it ... Spoiler is to short ... go to Autozone for some stickers ... come on do it...

Hell it's only a daily driver ...

nice car...not my style though, ill keep my 89 2.2 T2 daytona for the better mileage and the sleeper effect.

Enjoy and be a rebel ricer go against the other ricers
 
It is definitely a nice car for what it is, there is nothing like a car that has 235RWHP, and is under 3000lbs.
