    Should I also change all suspension parts on the car? I have a 2002 LS8 with 121k miles... Never did any suspension work before... Is it a safe bet to buy this: Lincoln LS Suspension Parts and install the springs with them? Thanks!

    Alright, I pulled fuses for Radio, ABS, A/C, Fuel Pump, Fan, Trans Solenoid, HEGOs, COPs, and even MORE, STILL.. error 1017, followed by 1009. This is getting annoying. Also just put ALL FUSES BACK IN, and STILL getting error. Clueless of what to do... Going to return my product to Torrie. :(

    I am doing it the same exact way you are, except i have the key in the off position, then plug into my obd port, and when prompted, turn the key to the ON position (not starting the engine), just enough so the lights on the dash come on. Awaiting an email from the SCT Engineers, tomorrow...

    Well I was told to pull those fuses because the fuel pump and fan automatically come on when the car is turned ON.... was told all/most electrical use needs to be cut off while uploading I plan to just put in all my fuses tonight anyways, because i need to take the car out, and i will try again...

    my obd port is working correctly Stugots. I pulled all the fuses they recommended .. Fuel Pump (3), Fan (2), ABS, Radio, Amp.

    what do you mean is there power to the obd port? No i haven't tried it with the fuses in, they said to remove the fuses ..... ?

    "No that format has been abandoned. Has SCT Tech contacted you ?" That was his response, I guess .LL3 files is no longer in use.

    my device firmware is up to date.. everything is perfect I AM SURE of it... the file extension he sent me is .CEF ... ?? 2002 -- http://www.automation-drive.com/EX/05-15-11/pinout.jpg the pins are the exact same on the image on the top right.. 16 pin.

    I did, he's trying to help out, but still getting errors man :( I don't have any aftermarket electronics installed... only magnaflow exhaust, intake and filter... thats all the mods i did

    Error 1017: Upload Stock Failed I keep getting that message when I try to install torrie's tune on to my 02 LS... Any suggestions? I pulled the fuses for the fuel pump, fan, radio, amp, and abs. :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

    I keep getting an error 1017 upload stock failed... I removed the 3 fuses for the fuel pump and the 2 for the fan... !?!?

    One last question! I got my xcal 3 today... going to do the strategy codes and send them over to Torrie.. WHICH FUSES / WHICH PRECAUTIONS should I take when I upload the tune to the car?? Thanks a lot!
