if you open all of the solenoids at once (running 12v to each) it will drop the car and usually trigger a check air ride message (in my experience on a 93) which will prevent it from fighting to stay up or correct itself after you walk away, the next time you start the car it will pump back up...

my front bags went out after 12 years and 120k miles, most of which have been in the phoenix heat the car is now 16 and still has the original rear bags. the neon has never failed. I also never go down dirt roads or slam the trunk

Even though it's a gen 2 I have still checked the trunk wires and all is well. After I change the light out it will work for about week then it's out again, any ideas?
