This is all I have the answer to unfortunately. I drove for about 200 miles with the issue, no check engine light or codes. I eventually got a "check transmission" pop up which I was then able to use the scanner and find codes for.

Hi JC and everyone, I had the solenoid pack replaced and the issue is unchanged. The reputable tranny shop who worked at ford dealer in early 2000's thinks its thr PCM still. Even after I've had it repaired twice and replaced with one by Flagship 1. It wasn't cheap lol. Still trying to figure...

Just a quick update, after repairing PCM twice and getting a new PCM from Flagship 1 and replacing the solenoid pack, issue persists. The reputable tranny shop thinks its a chip in the PCM. He's getting voltage to the solenoids which means its not the harness.

Hi everyone, just thought I'd post back here for anyone viewing this thread in the future. The throttle body, tranny fluid, coils and solenoid pack are all good. Checked/ replaced. Big $$$. Didn't fix the issue :/

Thank you for this! Yes I know the solenoids on the 03 suck. It was just hard to beleive that they sucked this bad where I'd have to replace it twice. I greatly appreciate the input. I just made an appointment for the solenoid to be replaced this week. I'll post back here on the results

So there's no room whatsoever to remove the wiring harness from the tranny. If you plan on fixing the wiring yourself you will have to drop or lower the tranny. I called the best dealer near me and gave them the codes. They said that it is either the wiring or an electrical failure inside the...

I'll be working on it this weekend. Based on my conversations with my tranny shop and Flagship One, as well as my own research, we think it's either the wiring to the solenoid, or the solenoid pack itself.
