I think for the CD player I will just buy an aftermarket unit and put it in. Seems to be the simplest and least expensive fix for that.
As far as the clock spring do you have any recommendations as to where to get it from?
Thanks
1LoudLS, Thanks, I was afraid I was screwed on the CD player. I tried removing the fuse for about 3 hours & disconnecting the battery for a couple hours and it did not correct it either.
PS like the quote attached to the bottom of your reply.
Hello,
I believe I am having a clock spring issue on my LS, cruse control buttons are not working properly and a couple radio buttons are not working either. I am also experiencing an air bag light showing a 36 code and a CD ERROR on my radio. Not sure if this is all related to a clock...
Ok, got her going. Checked the battery and it tested fine, also did not heard the fuel pump cycle. I then did a key reset, followed the prescribed fix turn ignition on and off 8 times within 10 seconds leaving it in the on position for the 8th turn then pressed any button on the remote within 20...
I will check again when I get home but I do not recall hearing the fuel pump. I was thinking that the alarm going off may have triggered something that will not let the car fire.
The car has been in storage since December. I had it was running 3 weeks ago, fired right up. I only disconnected the battery to give it a charge since I thought it was week from sitting.
Hello,
Went to get my 2002 LS out of storage and connected the battery. When I closed the trunk the alarm went off. I pushed a button on the remote to turn off the alarm now it turns over but will not start. Any ideas what may be the issue and what I need to do to correct it?
Thanks

Hi,
I have looked through as many threads as I could but I am still having trouble with the passenger side bushing bracket top bolt. I have the DCCV bracket loose. How do you hold it up out of the way and do you get the bolt from the top side or bottom side of the car?
Thanks Redline36
Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the top bolt for the DCCV bracket. I have been on my back for 2 hours trying to figure out how to get that bugger out.
Thanks
