would not the abs light come on then? the traction control system seems to work. I tried accelerating hard and it did its thing. any one have another tip?

thats the problem though It wont go away. I shut off the car severl time now even went out 10 minutes ago for lunch and it was still on. I bought a cheapo tool kit from checker and I disconnected the battery. I'll give a it about an hour to be completely cleared. I hope that will work. btw...
