Just drive around in 1st gear everywhere then you don't have to worry about ever shifting and your car will sound awesome. Then if the tranny ever stops shifting, there is no change in lifestyle
Like I stated above, the 6 speed will give me better pick-up off the line and give me a "sportier" feel overall, also my Navi' is an '04 so it only has a 4 speed transmission in it so I also believe it'll give me better gas milage
Ok, so I've owed my '04 Navigator Ultimate for about 4 years now and I've gotten pretty bored with it. I've always like manual transmissions so I'm considering converting my Navi' to a 6 speed manual by using a tranny I have acess to from a gt500. My questions are: 1) has anyone done this...
I have a 2004 Navigator Ultimate that has the HID headlights but what has always bothered me is that the fog light illuminate yellow and make it look "aged" so I was wondering if anyone knew of a good replacement bulb that lights a little more clearly like the headlights
I have a 2004 navigator with the 32v Intech motor, am looking to do a custom exhaust system (true dual) from the manifolds back eliminating the 4 cats and going down to 2 cats. I've done a system like this before on my 01 but wound up being a little too loud for me, I'm thinking it's largely...
My only advice is and it just might be presonal preference is to make sure it has the 32v Intech motor and not the 24v triton. the only downfall is the Intech was only available in 03/04 so you lose the abilty to get the 6 speed tranny
as far as performance and mpg's you should really consider doing and exhaust system, cat back is ok but you should really consider going to a shop and having a manifold back system done and getting rid of the pre-cats. try to find a shop that does mandrel bends. our 32v motors really like to...
