4.6 mod were not part of the Duratec line, neither was the Jag motors. Also, going from a dohc to sohc involves more variables. The 4.6 mod was a experiment to swap the Jag 3.9. Also just because a person is an engineer for structural steel does not mean they are an engineer for electronics...- thatguy

Computer controls is a easy task for electronic nerds. Aside from that, even the Coyote 5.0 can be made to run carborated (not that you should). But, the basic I/0 can be figured out using an O-scope. Blah blah nerd talk. AC actuator probably has a pair of VDC wires coming off of the compressor...- thatguy

Hypothetical swap(s): LS with the 3.0 Duratec and a 5 speed manual trans. Swap to 2011+ Mustang 3.7 Cyclone. The engines all derive from the Duratec 25. From what I have read they have maintained the samemotor mounts, transmission bolt patterns, and some of the basic electronic management...- thatguy
