How the hell do you keep the car running so well?? I mean you are defying the odds. Have you replaced all mechanical/engine stuff besides the block itself?

I use a Mark LT as my daily driver. Terrible MPG, but people dont get trucks for mileage. The F150 is a sold platform. The new rams are nice and get the best mileage, but not sure on longevity.

All cars can have issues. New cars will have defects. Im more concerend with how a car holds up in the long run. And you know the LS has way too many issues, and there are a hell of a lot more LX platform cars on the road. The main issues with those cars are suspension. I rather deal with that...

They are chrome XC's, like alax's but non replica actual volvo oem. In the long run, the charger will have been more reliable. The LS issues can get stupid and expensive quick. But yes all around the LS feels nimble and faster, although the chargers have more power.

If it makes you feel any better...the LS made more power than the same year mustang GT's. It wasn't until 2005 when they started using the 3 valve making 300hp the stang caught up.... up until then you could run with one side by side. The mustang is still faster by only slightly. A tuned/modded...

The LS is too puny to light up the rears like that but good luck.

Ive just always seen that a live axle seems to be preffered for towing. Yes the expeditions can do just about as much as the F150's do, except they have coils and IRS in the rear vs leafs and live axle. Max tow package on my truck is 9,900lbs but i would never attempt that. Too damn heavy for a...

Its a terrible idea. Theres more to towing than just having a powerful engine. The rest of the vehicle has to be up to it. transmission, differential, hubs, etc. A Ford Ranger is barely up to the job and thats a small truck.
