    the shifter in my 1987 mark VII is stuck in drive was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to whats wrong. any help would be appreciated.

    My 1987 mark vii shifter

    My shifter seems to be stuck and wont move back and forth. The car will turn over, so im wondering if there is a cable that needs to be adjusted next to the transmission? Any help would be great.
