Anyone got a fix for a high idle speed of 1500 rpm on a 92 LSC? My rich mechanic says the air intake plenum gaskets are leaking and messing up the fuel/air mixuture and messing with the computer. Is there a cheaper effective way to fix this? My mechanic wants $300.
Got a 92 LSC with 66K miles and the most annoying water leak through the inner firewall where the air intake for the HVAC system brings in outside air through the firewall. Rust has eaten away at the seal and every time it rains I get a puddle of water on the passenger side. I can't see anyway...
