I took my truck to the track sunday and had the same problem. I literally didnt have traction from the line to the booth at the end.
Not even sure how I moved.
If its still up when I get back from Sig in January I might buy it.
I'm debating lowering my truck to below factory and getting a bike
Or
Converting it to 4x4 and just getting a good gas mileage car.
If you don't buy ill track that guy down and buy it. I kick my ass everyday for not keeping my 96 and blowing it.
Although I do like diesel power. Theres something to be said for power that can handle a corner. And now there's a guy at the gym I go to that has a b/b cobra and I get that...
Even with turbo lag and the fact it would be a pain to mount I still say if your gonna blow money really blow that thing.
Bill I know you have fantisized more about that idea and know these cars better than I do but I have seen a camaro with a turbo like down below the engine which I'm sure...
I've lost a lot of love for superchargers here recently. Maybe cause I drive something with a turbo.
With that said if your going to drop 10gs on the mark, build the motor to the hilt and put a turbo on it. With a tuned that does street and strip tune.
I know !!!!!!
Put a diesel in it. I don't know what engines are available in the states but being in Europe for that past month I have diesel on the brain.
Guy at work was telling us he read an article about how they are horrible for the enviroment. The place they make the batteries in Canada has like a 5 mile radius of barren waste land because the batteries are so harmful.
