And that's not correct. Dealers do not make keys for cars older than 10 yrs. And locksmiths cost $$$ where I live. I did this with a Z-car before and it wasn't necessary after all. It's a similar setup to these.

Because I flip them as a hobby and all I paid for it was another car in my inventory. Plus I don't need to hear them, they get fixed and work again so idc if they don't run.

I just bought a '93 Mark VIII with lost keys so first thing is to get some. Can't I just buy an ignition lock cylinder w/keys and change it out?
