I found that the 32v motor is really restricted by the 4 cat system and tends to really "wake up" when it's taken down to a 2 cat system

My only advice is and it just might be presonal preference is to make sure it has the 32v Intech motor and not the 24v triton. the only downfall is the Intech was only available in 03/04 so you lose the abilty to get the 6 speed tranny

as far as performance and mpg's you should really consider doing and exhaust system, cat back is ok but you should really consider going to a shop and having a manifold back system done and getting rid of the pre-cats. try to find a shop that does mandrel bends. our 32v motors really like to...
