Well, as some of you may remember I sold my 02 LSE to my cousin with a blown motor for $600. It is now trying to come back to me! He was hit by some pickup and broke the steering knuckle. So for $1000 its mine again! Although I need a $300+ steering knuckle for the passenger side. Soooooo...

The oil filter came lose on a road trip, lost a TON of oil, filled it up at my destination and tightened down the filter, got home and it was like, FML DIE. Properly maintained and cared for I love my car... I guess NAPA filters just hate me :(

Gonna take like 2 weeks, paying under the table and as a side job. Got the motor today; looked at it and was like wtf its a gen2! but really I never seen how far back the motor goes and the intake was right. Also, damn, the bell housing for the trans is almost as big as the motor itself!

What I heard was that the entire suspension needs to come out, tranny too, and then still the motor is nearly stuck in the damned car. Hes a reliable guy but damn, he doesnt sound too thrilled.

This is EXACTLY what happened with my car. Started to misfire, and really the coils were in decent condition for 85k on em, but the plugs, especially the back of the motor were just shot. Rusty, black, and nasty as hellllll.
