It is interesting that RockAuto has the degas on back order for 6+ days. It is such a 'high demand' part I assume. I had to wait for 10 days to get mine from Ford that shipped it to Tasca Ford before sending to me. Maybe the Ford stock is now getting low or maybe most assume Dorman will get the...

I kinda am getting to that point as well. Mine is a 2006 and has over 176,000 miles. I just replaced the Degas bottle (3rd one, 2nd I have replaced). The last one lasted 60,000 miles. It took nearly 11 days to get one from Tasca as they had to get it from Ford directly and that still cost me...

The Motorcraft one is made by Bosch and I would trust it over the "Four Seasons" brand. The cost difference is not significant (IMHO).

I agree. Ford has a history of that that other manufacturers do not seem to do. Their redesigns seems complete. Ford seems to approach their redesigns with minimal effort. The original Taurus was a fresh design, compromised by poor re-design that had heavy input from traditional Ford customers...
