    Top Speed?

I used Torrie's 6% advance but the rules allow 105 Octane - ran smooth thru the entire power band 4000-6500. My tires were 25.9 inches. I want to see what the rear gear change will do...extra shift and pushing the mass above 125??? all in a one mile time. Lowering helps as it reduces the...

    Cooling Fan Advice

you bleed the coolant system thru the bleeder hose...but this is the hydralic fan system in question, that is bleed by vacuum, pulling the air out thru the reservoir.

    Cooling Fan Advice

you need a vacuum pump and attach it to the filler of the reservoir. pump it up to release the air...let it sit for a few minutes. Sometimes it has to be repeated. As I said, if you don't have a vacuum pump...check the load-a-tool at Autozone.

    Cooling Fan Advice

Good idea, it only takes 10 minutes...to save hours on changing the pump. good luck. If you don't have a vacuum pump, I think Autozone loan-a-tool does.

    Cooling Fan Advice

Hey, before you change the pump...its expensive and a bitch to change and especially the line from the reservoir...you said you replaced the fan...did you bleed the hydralic system??? air in the system will cause a loud noise and vibration in the line to the fan motor.

    Stainless brake lines?

agree, never open the bleeder unless bleeding...follow your buddies procedure you detail in your 2nd post...furtherest from the Brake Reservoir (RR) and no need to start the engine. make sure you use a tube to the bleeder to catch the disposal fluid to ensure you don't wreck your new paint...

    Stainless brake lines?

did you disconnect the brake lines or allow the pistons in the calipers to move out??? if you didn't...the system shouldn't need bleeding...if it does, you described it right. be careful with the brake fluid bleeding out-that it does contact the new painted calipers...brake fluid is expensive...
