I have a 2000 lincoln ls8 with the 3.9 v8 , 87,000 original miles very clean . $1500 obo crank no start i bought it this way . Probably needs exhaust cam timming chain . I dont have the time to fix it . I am in columbus Ohio

Hi all , I am new to the forum . I just purchased a 2000 with 87,000 miles , I was told it needed an engine , I put a battery in it and cranked it over almost started . After reading about the 3.9L engine I think it has a bad timing chain . John B
