Hey guys, I have had my LS for 2 years and have had continual problems with the coolant system. Recently it has gotten so bad that I cannot drive it anywhere without it overheating. I have had the system fully bled 3 times by 2 different mechanics, each time it works fine for the duration...

Being a grad student living in an apartment without a garage in 20 degree weather, I want to avoid having to bleed the system myself unless I'm sure it's the problem :-P.

Well, the new cap is on, the overheating has gone away, so that's good. The climate control is also functioning properly for the most part, but after 10 minutes or so of running, the heat still only gets to slightly above luke-warm temp, I can live with this as it makes the cabin comfortable...

Also, the only other problem I have is the driver heated seat doesn't work. It's not a fuse, so I'm assuming it's something in the actual seat. Any thoughts?

Wow, thanks for all the help everyone. I took it in to the mechanic today and told him to check for leaks, and air. He did indeed find air in the system, which turns out to be the root of the problem. Without even bleeding it, he got it out by using the bubble technique through the degas...
