The valve cover on the driver's side is a PITA I did it last weekend. You definitely needed to take the wiper cowl off, as well as 20 other things, and to top it off I forgot to put new bolt seals in LOL. Have you tried a magnet to get the dipstick out??

Nice find, I've picked up a 98 LSC for $1000 on factory air with 130k on it too, but yours seems to be in better condition. So far I've changed the shocks, and needs a lot of minor things so far..

Put new rear shocks and mounts on today. Monroe Sensatracs with the American Air Suspension mounts. Rides smoother now, especially on the highway. Handling and braking improved as well. Still clunks over big bumps around town, gotta figure out what that is...

The LSC with 75k looks pretty nice. Not wild about the colors, bu tit still ooks great, it's a mark.
