Mechanic called me earlier about the issue. He isn't 100% sure but thinks it is the timing chain. Quoted me 1300 to replace it. What should I do? What will happen if I keep driving it without fixing it if it is the timing chain? It doesn't seem to be effecting the way the car drives at all.

Forgot to mention that codes P0132 and P0402 have shown up recently. Considering my knowledge of engines and cars in general I will probably just get it checked out by a mechanic.

Went ahead and plasti dipped the rims. Gotta say I was a bit unsure about how it would look but I am most definitely happy about how it turned out.

Having the same issue with my 03 ls. Had my cat converters checked and they weren't clogged. Smell has been there before and after an engine swap though.
