Hi All,
Sadly my LS has seen it's final mile. I have several new, never before used parts in-box from Ford. These were stored for the 'paint job that never came'. So if you're looking to repair/restore your LS with any of these very hard/impossible to find parts, let me know.
All fit 2003...
Agreed on MKT account. I'd prefer the Jeep Grand Cherokee but I'm not exactly thrilled about owning a Chrysler product. I fear I'd end up with more problems than I already have!
That's somewhat reassuring that it's not uncommon. I've never had such an issue with past vehicles. The battery is a contained die-hard and does have the vent tube connected. No water or leaks in the spare tire well.
It's possible the valve cover job was done poorly before. Although, with...
Hello,
I had an issue where my LS (03 with 110k miles) recently died on me. Here's what happened:

I also had an issue with...

Will-do. I believe I get the silver metra kit in the mail today. I'm really glad Crutchfield provided the black one though. It made me feel much more comfortable modifying something I knew I could just throw away without much loss. I'll add some final install pics to the doc and post another...
Ah shoot. Well I've been talking into it for years now. LOL. What a dumbass. I'll find another spot for it and update the doc. I was hoping to avoid any removal of A pillars as the plastic is so darn fragile at this age. Oh well
Hi All,
I just completed my install, with a huge amount of help from Joe. I've written some detailed instructions for how I did, it. Hopefully this will help someone else. I didn't do the fancy backup camera or anything, but I'm happy with my results...
