Part #'s and Special Tool to Remove Hoses from DCCV and Auxiliary Water Pump to Metal Heater Lines

I hear you re: the cooling system: Joegr is correct! I have the sport model. Good luck in chasing down the factory hoses as most have been discontinued. Also, there may be a Jaguar equivalent (Don't quote me on that) However, there is one saving grace; If you find an aftermarket version e.g...

Any Recommended Transmission Shops in Southern California?

Hi Folks, Have an update: Good News: The Transmission Overfill did not destroy my Pump Seal; Per Leon's Transmission (Santa Clarita, CA): The Transmission is doing what it's supposed to do if overfilled. From driving the fluid splashed all over the bottom and looked liked the Pump Seal was...

Any Recommended Transmission Shops in Southern California?

Thanks Joegr; If the other Mechanic was there this probably would not have happened; The owner and other mechanic said they followed the All Data Instructions and lost count of the number of pumps when refilling the Transmission. On one hand, not many shops would admit they screwed up; And...

Heater Pipe to DCC Valve Hoses Are They High Pressure?

Hi Folks, Are the Two Hoses connected from the DCC Valve and Heater Pipes 'High Pressure' Hoses? I'm thinking not because they both attach to the DCC Valve with regular hoses clamps, however they attach to the Heater Pipes with 'Quick Connects', both of the Factory Hoses (3W4Z-18N344-AB +...

Hey, Joe, You always come through.. Thanks! I try O'Reilly's You know it's Weird.. I talked to a Car Quest Parts Guy and they have two Radiators with the exact same description and I think the descriptions are misleading re: the Oil Cooler.. they state 'No' as if the radiator comes with an...

Stainless Steel Bakes Lines - Any Problems with Fitments?

Thanks 04, That's what I was thinking... Previously, I installed New Stainless Steel Brake lines on my other Car (1973 BMW 2002) and noticed some improvement. In addition, I have not had to think about brake lines for a while. I know they're two different type of vehicles. I may look for...

Stainless Steel Bakes Lines - Any Problems with Fitments?

Thanks Craigh, I had replaced the steel lines on other cars and noticed some difference. It figures, with this car simple improvements don't seem to matter unless you go full out. E.g. High performance calipers, lines etc.. Appreciate your feedback
