My 98 Town Car had a seal leaking along the cowl or fire wall when i got it in 2007. The dealer called in the water doctor. They found the leak and sealed it. It was covered by them. I didn't do the work.

Is it a bear to run new lines to deliver air to the springs? And where do get level sensors for the Mrk 8, or are they needed?

I never changed or checked the sensor, but that is one that is going to get done as well. When I replaced the gasket it lasted awhile but then leak came back. Still have my old gasket in trunk, I said when it came out that it didn't look bad and I always had my doubts.

They say you have to reprogram the replacement computer. Sometimes the cause can be that the Sunroof drains get clogged and water runs down the A pillars, I do believe And shorts the computer,wets the floor etc. This guy was talking a little bit about trouble shooting and replacing the computer...

It's behind the glovebox, if you can remove the glovebox maybe that will help you get a better view of it.

Pulled her out the garage after tuning her up this weekend. Warmed her up and prayed the door would not do the I'm froze and I don't wanna close trick! Success it shut and we did a 17 mile stretch at 90 mph on the way to work. SHE DID AWESOME! :cool:

I created a new thread about oil filter housing gasket leaking after replacing 18 months ago. Do you know if the bolts can vibrate loose and if so how to prevent that from happening.
