Thanks! Yes, I purchased a new ballast this morning from Bruce. I will update when I receive it and put it in.

I attempted to look into the rear neon ballast. I found that the wires (white) looked like they were burned at one point and were no longer connected to the neon light wiring. I spliced them, but to no avail. I'm not sure if the ballast, which did not look to be original, is bad or the neon itself.

So I'm nearing the completion of my car upgrades. Today I wanted to tackle the neon not working. I disassembled to discover the ballast was a small, white ballast, not the original. Also, both white wires coming from it looked charred and were no longer attached to their appropriate neon wires...

Are you referring to the gap in the cowl that I have pictured? Or the air intake?

I replaced the foam on the cowl by the air intake. Once my carpeting dries out I will see if that works. The sun roof seems fine. I did not check the doors. Thanks for the advice. Where is this drain hole by the air intake? I didn't see one.
