Hey everyone... Just finished installing 96-98 cobra intake cams with new tube seals and plugs (autolite 764s gapped at 0.052). The cobra cams had keyway notches on them so I just ground them off instead of grinding the keyway on the gear itself which is what people usually do. I did not degree...
I actually managed to find a cobra throttle bracket with return spring but will have to wait for it to be shipped... If someone knows whether or not I'll be able to use my stock throttle cable with this that'd be great. I suppose I'll find out in time and could always grab a Lokar but I'm really...
I'm not even sure if the throttle cable is an issue. Some people say the stock one can be used others say they used lokar/cobra cable. I'm considering calling junk yards across the the US and hoping someone will ship me a bracket to Canada.... Maybe I should buy the cobra throttle cable with it...

If I have to I'll probably just block off the egr valve with a plate as well. Call me lazy but it's been hot as hell and I've been having a hell of a time getting the fuel rail back on... It was a PITA on my dodge 4.7 too so I'm not surprised. I started this on Thursday and I need to drive my...
Thanks I'm thinking if I take off the driverside wheel well cover it may be fairly easy to access. I was just hoping that maybe the egr wouldn't vent fumes into the engine bay when there's no vacuum line attached.
Hey guys. I have a 98 LSC and am currently doing the cobra manifold swap. I've already got an egr delete plate on the cobra manifold but I'm wondering what to do about the egr equipment itself. From what I can tell accessing the tube on the exhaust manifold will be a PITA not sure how to gain...
