This is my 96" before the 2 tone paint job. This was the first stripe design with an extra pic I always liked. Obviously I was trying to get the old Challenger look and then final look with a different color Orange and just the thin strip.

Worried about removing original spark plugs

Bangster, Yeah, I see your train of thought. I have been using the coppers for years and changed them out every year but I do see the advantage your talking about. It's not like the 95 has any modifications, she's bone stock.

Worried about removing original spark plugs

I don't have any issues with changing plugs, it's just that this particular set have been in there for 20 years and I wanted to cover all my bases before going after them. I always do it with a cold engine. I've been changed my 96' plugs many times over the years. I have a feeling I'll be...

We just picked up another Mark 98 CE

Just happened to be watching CL the other day and found this, it's a one owner excellent condition with 82,000. These are just some I-phone pics, I'll get some better ones and post those in a day or two. (I know there on backwards :-))

Worried about removing original spark plugs

Thanks again for all the suggestions and advice. As for the plugs, I've always used the coppers and always had good luck with them over the years. I will share the outcome.

Worried about removing original spark plugs

Thanks to you guys that took a minute to offer your advice. I feel a lot better about going after them, I'm still going to put a little PB on them just in case. Greg

Worried about removing original spark plugs

Hey all, I've been doing some searching but not really getting the answer I was looking for. I just got a new 95 Mark VIII with only 70,000 on it, I'm 99.9% sure they are the original plugs. My question is what can I do before attempting to remove them? Should I spray some WD-40 down each one or...

    Newbie looking for buying advice

Rat, I can give you my experience as I just went through this. If your as picky as I am about the paint and I'm picky, look it over closely. I bought mine from a group in Ohio, I'm in KC and even though I had them send me 50+ pics they managed to hide some obvious issues and then there were the...

    Newbie looking for buying advice

Welcome to the board MagicRat. I'm not suggesting you are but the first thing is don't be in a hurry to get your car. There are so many factors that apply to each individual. Are you looking for a low mileage car and willing to pay a little more for it or are you looking for a deal on one in...

1997 Mark VIII updates with pics

Bill you asked me this same question in my thread about the new Mark VIII I just picked up. Yes, I had the heads pulled off of my car. My health isn't the best so I have a guy that turns the wrench's for me as that's about all I trust him to do. I have to watch over his work to feel comfortable...

    Here's my new Mar VIII

Yes, I had the heads pulled off. The car has some rust issues, but we (a buddy is helping me out) haven't decided what we're going to do with the 96' yet.

    Here's my new Mar VIII

It should return back to the previous position. I noticed on day that I had to adjust the back of the seat a little before it would work properly. I don't know if mine was just getting old but if it wasn't at the right angle it would stay forward. I bet if you mess with the back angle it will...

    The Day has Come!

Dan, It's so strange how I'm experiencing all the old excitement I did when I bought my 96' Mark VIII back in 98. I've been watching all the reviews, commercials and owners guide videos again, it's like it's all new again. I took it up to a local car show last night and was some what taken aback...
