My LS V8 has the same problem... not fixed yet. My LS V8 also misfires around the same speeds. A diagnostic check revealed a, "#5 cylinder misfire." Problem for is that I don't know how to fix it. I don't know which piston cylinder is #5. I'm guessing it's either the sparkplugs, coils...
