D1 is quiet too , it gets relly loud when you sted up to F series blowers , they are way louder the Y-si
F1A with open big red valve is nasty loud , I love it :D

For a daily , PD blower would be way more fun then Centri blower . Trow C-heads on the car then do a Terminator conversion . it will be a very fun and torquey 400-450HP car . you will make more power with Terminator Eaton conversion then non intercooled B headed KB
2.2 KB's are pretty loud...
He still has the car , this year was just very crazy for us as we didn't even hit the track ones ,neither with his car or my car. 2010 was the last time we run our cars at Byron

+1
with Iron 5.4 block and all the Lightning supercharger system that car has to be at least 300 lbs heavier then a stock Mark VIII. Stock Lightning engines aren't anything special anyways , they have sh...ty rods.
so what did you make at 17.4 psi power-wise.I don't get this so you had forged motor before and now you have a stock one or you were pushing 17.4 on a stock bottom end before ?
I'm still saying you won't make 550 rwhp with non I/C KB running methanol on pump gas.I hope you get this build done...
No offence man but do some research before you pull the trigger to meet your 550 rwhp goal.
2.2KB at 16 psi won't make 550rwhp thru auto specially with that inlet design on B headed cars . To make around 16psi you're gonna have to run smallest available pulley 2.75, 6-rib with 2.75 pulley =...
I hope you aren't planning to run 16 psi on your non I/C KB. Stock heads are fine, I rev my car to 7300 rpms , my brother revs his 98 to 7800 rpms on stock heads. single 255 HP pump maxed out at 430rwhp on my brother's car with Vortech. Don't overheat your stock trans then it will last a long...
I know it's too late as you already have the heads done.If you want to make decent power N/A and have a good power-band switch to C heads.B heads are great for a power adder , not so great for N/A applications unless you're going to spin your motor to 8500 rpms.
Was it or not :D:D:D
17'' stock 03 Cobra rims , first #s shown on the boards before the 1/4 mile times are 60 foot times :eek:
