Thanks. The offset on the 20 inch MKS wheels is 39 and the offset on the 20 inch wheels of the MKX is 44. Is that close enough I wonder? I have 22 on my 08 MKX and while it looks nice, the ride is of course not Lincoln smooth so I wanted to drop to the OEM wheels and I love the 20 inch wheels of...
I am looking for some Lincoln rim logos, the round item with an adhesive backing with the Lincoln Logo that you could use for the center of aftermarket rim. Doesn anyone know if they still make them?
Would appreciate some help here. Thanks
Since I see no thread either dedicated to the MKX or it included with the Navigator/Aviator I have to assume that no one has any complaints about it. I know I am happy with both my Lincolns even though I have had some issues with my 06 Zephyr
I have been having these problems with my 06 Zephyr. My front heated and cooled seat has already stopped working for the second time. The first time the dealer took 2 weeks to get the part and fix it. They had to remove the seat and the seat cover and replace the part. This happen last year in...
Can you tell me when this recall happen for the rear axle whine? I have that problem now on my Aviator with 52k miles. Any idea what causes the problem and is it a big and costly repair?
rear axle whine
I have that problem now on my 2003 Aviator with 52k miles. Someone here mentioned there was a recall for this problem. When did that happen. Any idea what causes this problem and is it a big and costly repair?
I was able to find out that there isnt a lowering kit for a 2 wheel drive only for AWD's. Does anybody know why the AWD lowering kit will not work for a 2 wheel drive Aviator? What is the difference in the set up other than the AWD version having more height?
I hope that someone here in...
Does anyone know if a lowering kit for a 2 wheel drive Aviator is available? I want to lower my 2003 Aviator and a local shop who specializes in this told me that the kits are only available for AWD Aviators. Thanks
Ken that is right but I think the pciture that someone posted on the llsoc.com site that were actually taken at the SEMA show are much better. Only because the cars have better and bigger wheel set ups and they are lowered. On the 3D Carbon site the vehicles are not lowered nor is the wheel...
3D Carbon Kits
if anybody is interested to see the kits on the MKZ or the MKX there are pictures of both vehicles at the SEMA show on the llsoc.com site. Just click on the Lincoln Zephyr/MKZ tab. According to a auto distributor here in my local area who attended the show, the kit does not...
I just bought a 2006 Zephyr and it is lowered really nice with 20 inch wheels. The wheels are Nittos and the rims are from Cruiser Alloy. I had the car pisntriped on the sides and on the front hood. The two rear side windows along with the rear window are also tinted. This was done by a local...

HID Lights NOT available on the MKX in 2007
You may want to check the Lincoln website on where they allow you to build your own 2007 Lincoln MKX. While an adaptive lighting system will be available HID lights will NOT be available as standard equipment or even offered as optional equipment...
NO HID LIGHTS AVAILABLE ON THE MKX. I would rather have HID lights then the adaptive system. I cannot see why both cant be offered. A luxury marque not having HID lights available on their vehicles is UNTHINKABLE in this day and age. Especially if you want to attract customers back to your...
No Hid Lights
In reading about the MKXin the www.media.ford.com site it does not mention at all about the availibility of High Intensity Discharge headlamp either in the standard equipment or in the optinal equipment list. I hope that they will be available on this vehicle. I do not understand...
Well unfortunately Lincoln's future doesn not look bright at all. The redesigned Navigator looks horrible and still remains underpowered. This update unfortunately was not a major remodification to revamp this important model that is really Lincoln's continued existance. Let's face it if...
THe new design seems to incorporate parts of other ford and lincoln products. I do not like the front grille design with the large openings on the mesh grille. If they wanted to do away with the lincoln waterfall grille to distinguish the suv's from the sedans they should have gone with the same...
