General Description
it took me one year to fully restore this car.i bought it for 700$.blown engine,windows were down for two years.completely weathered!we put in a 4.1 and stripped it inside out.peeled off the vynal top and went to restoreing it all cadillac oem parts.the only customizeing was in the air ride, sunroof,steering wheel rims and electrical hardware.other then that it is all cadillac.the seats are 94 cadillac fleetwood.the woodgrain was stained and cleared to match the steering wheel.all pannels and dash are repholstered it has 5 lcd(2 headrest ,two in front, and one in trunk)18 speakers,3 amp,zapco eq,with jvc cd dvd componet sterio.total of 3500 watts. all hi -fonics.2 12 inch pbx 2 ohm dual voice coils and the set up is completely wireless to the eye and at a half ohm stable. the car was then assembled around the system allowing us to sound proof the vehicle from any rattleing.giving off solid bass tweeters were fitted within the frames exterior so that the clearaty of the sterio remains crisp even with all windows up.the seats have been fitted with lower back and neck massagers activated only when the seat is occupied.a rear view camera was installed takeing place of trunk key hole.now all electric.the bigger screen diplays camera view (only)this came about due to the fact the bass produced by this car trembles the rear view mirrir so much it is impossible to see out of it.the distance the bass travels is in the range of 1.2 miles.now as for the exterior,all chrome rocker pannels were added on with dentless paint light bulbs are led and head lights are oem hids off 2006 cadilaac.air bags were also incorperated.(front and back)now with all that being said let me bring up the problem at hand!the overflo resivore cap was not on at the time and i was driveing up hill.for some reason or another the antifreeza saturated the top of engine,in distrubtor cap,throttle body,altornator etc.i replaced all that along with plugs and wires and cap modular and engine just cranks.ive got spark .the throttle body spits heavly somtimes ignites.timing is-good should i replace engine?(show in 1 month) CADILLACS car club SAN JOSE, CA "under construction but comeing soon!" thanks - mugs
