0-60 on a LS with SCT Flasher, Intake and Exhuast??

What do you guys think the 0-60 is on a LS with all these upgrades with the SCT flasher set to wild.
Your probably looking at about 6.6 0-60 time. Not winning many trophies with that, but you'll sure be able to beat most sedans out there. Using calculated models with an increase of 25 hp to the LS will produce about 4 tenths quicker time in the 1/4 mi.

Isnt it a bigger HP gain then that, intake 10-15 exhause 7-10 and the sct flasher is set in 3 levels which i think is 6hp, 12 hp and 21 hp. so That would be a total of like 30-45 hp. Wouldnt the 0-60 be a littleb faster then 6.6. Is there anyone on here that has all of these upgrades and has a 0-60 time and a noticible gain

For the 2006, I've seen quoted 0-60 times of 6.4s (stock):

http://www.autos.com/autos/car/luxury/2006/lincoln/ls/v8_sport/performance

And 6.8s:

http://auto.consumerguide.com/Auto/New/reviews/full/index.cfm/id/38737/Act/RoadTest/

For 2000 V8, this site says 7.5s (and 7.9s for the 2002 V8).

It may be hard to believe but on my 04, with Intake, Exhaust, SCT Flasher, and fat tires for traction I can outrun my friend in his 6 speed 350Z. Im going to a open track day in a couple months to run the 1/4 in my LS, Ill post times once I get them.

I would love to see that. I used to have a 240sx and always thought it was extremely underpowered and wanted a 350z. Except everyone went out and bought one, it is a common car on the roads now (plus its $$+ it hasn't depreciated much since the '03 release). If you can outrun a 350z (prob only if its stock) with an LS. Sweet. Proof is even better, like video. That would be nice if you could get video of that and post it here. Race him again. (disclaimer - only on approved and legal tracks)
:L

I will hopefully get video when I get to the track in a couple months. The 03+ LS's are pretty quick with a few mods, I rarely run into anything that can outrun it, your run of the mill 4 door sedans, not CTS-V's or anything crazy like that.

I had a 93 240sx with a SR20 swap pushing over 440HP. I really miss that car.

i've ran mine 6.4 to 6.7 several runs back when the car was running well. on a warm day too.

That puts my estimate right about in the middle. I think one angle that not many seem to focus on with improving the speed/acceleration of their LS is dealing with the weight. It has a curb weight of 3772 lbs, so with gas and a normal human driving your looking at about 4000 lbs rolling down the road. Work on getting that down by a few hundred pounds and you'll see some amazing results. It seems that all of the mods that can be done will make about 300, maybe 305 hp, thats about it. But thats plenty. Come up with a way to make the LS weigh around 3500 lbs and you'll have a car worthy of around 5.5 'ish (0-60). Throw some nitrous on that and you'll have a very fast LS.

I'm not exactly a big guy. also, laundhing in sst gives a much snappier take off. then i switch into d5 before it needs a shift as I find the shifts are snappier that way. best runs for me came with this method FWIW

Its not necessarily hard to believe that your friend can't drive.

I traded my '04 350z on my LS (financial reasons). The LS doesn't come anywhere close ... but it doesn't need to. With the LS, I've got 2 extra doors, a backseat, a big trunk, and a nice smooth highway ride. It has no need to be a hardcore sportscar like the Z.

hey guys,so let me get this straigt.03 LS can do 6.4 like lincoln said, right?
I always see you guys saying that the LS are 6.9-7.0s. and whats the 1/4 of the 03+ LS?

There is always a wide range of numbers to go on and thats where I think there is confusion in this post with the 00-02's and the 03-06's

A 03+ LS
0-60 between 6.0-6.4 stock
1/4 between 14.8-15.1 stock

Digging up an old thread but a CAI, Tuned 03+ LS will be RIGHT there with a stock 350Z. The stock 350Z's range in 1/4 mile ET from high high 13's to low 14's. I personally ran a 14.3 @ 98 MPH in my 05 LS with just a CAI and tune. Since he last posted 02V8Sport has ran a 14.2 at his track with his similar mods. That would be just a little faster than some stock 350Z's and that is not even taking into account the big possibility of a not so good driver with the Z causing that low 14 second ET to climb up to the mid-high 14's and beyond. Not so rediculous of an idea now is it? :D

Hey bro that estimate is high for the ET. Stocker 03+ LS V8's pull about a 14.7-14.9 ET in the 1/4 mile with a decent driver.

00-02s published numbers are pretty wrong also. 02 is often listed as the slowest. My 02 LSE with intake and exhaust no tuner has done 15.041 on 20s. That should be good for a mid 6 sec. 0-60 and maybe even a low. I have a hard time believing my intake and exhaust gave my more than a second increase, I'm guessing .5 at the very most. That would point to a stock run of around 6.9-7.0 in the 0-60. 1/4s should be 15.1s-15.4s.

im pretty sure my stock 02 LS does 0-60 in around 6.5 sec or so, i tested it many times but it could always be a bit wrong i guess :( i tested it against cars like srt4 that should do 0-60 in 5.5 sec and i always outrun them up to 60, but they do start catching me around 55 or so... the drivers are my friends and i know they can drive since they get high 13's out of their stock srt4's
