00' coils bad?

at idle on a cold engine.. it shakes pretty bad.. and today i went to start it and it wouldnt go until i gave it some gas.. you think this could be the coils?

if so are they covered by the premium care warrenty?

anyway to tell if the ball joint recall was taken care of (i bought it used)

V6 or V8. Is the warranty a Ford Care Warranty. If so then yes but you may have to pay the diag fee and deductible. Contact Ford Customer care and inquire about recall work:

1-800-392-3673 Have your VIN ready.

press 6 for Lincoln vehicles

once you've done that, press 2 for other info

you'll have to enter your 10 digit phone#

Then press 2 for all other info.

then hold tight & someone will be on the line shortly.

nah someone else had the number and stuff. I usually send folks to flatratetech.com but the 800# can be faster.

you dont need to remember it all. you can just call the number and listen to all the options.
i called them recently, and was surprised that no one had ever used that number & posted it on here. i did ALOT of research when i was looking at LS's.. dont even know how i came across the number, but yeah, i called them about a month ago or so, just before i posted the #, and i wrote all the steps down so i wouldnt have to listen to the whole recording if i wanted to call again. anyway, i had called to see when my LS had the ball joint recall done, and if the recall can be RE-checked. the person told me my noisy/bumpy ride probably isnt related to the recall, cuz the recall was a safety issue and they read off the whole recall & what the symptoms were, and it didnt sound like my problem. but anyway, when a recall is done, theres a one or 2 year warranty for the recall & after that, it becomes your problem, not fords. :Bang

thanks ill give them a call i also need to see if the recall was done.. its a v8.. it seems fine now but kinda scarred me.. was there a recall on teh coils? i dont even know what coils do..lol im a computer guy, not car... thanks guys
