00 Deville Stalling

I was driving down the road when the car stalled and started smelling like sulfer out the tail pipe. I was thinking catylitic converter but i'm not sure. Anyone have any suggestions?

u should have got a code if it stalled? Did you check? Sounds like could be the converter.

I didn't even think to check for the code. If it is the cat i'm going to look in to an aftermarket with a little more flow, just not sure if that will mess with the computer. Thanks

Random stalling on a 2000 Deville is probably caused by the crankshaft position sensors. It's a very common problem and relatively easy to fix.
