Last week during the cold snap on the East Coast my drivers side window was "frozen"; wouldn't budge when I tried to lower it. Let it warm up, then everything was fine.
Same thing happened this morning, except this time when I went to lower it, something broke on the inside. The window is still up, I can hear the motor turning.
Any idea how much of a repair job this could be. I looked on RockAuto for the part, the window regulator goes for around $70. My guess is the labor is not trivial.
I made an appointment for Wed. At the same time, Im going to get them to fix the dam plug under the seat the causes the airbag light to flash "5-5".
Thanks for any insight.
