Hey guys,
I have a question for you. My wife cleaned the inside of my LS the other day and something got all over the instrument cluster lens and turned it a milky white looking. I assume I can't just replace the lens. I have found a few instrument clusters online and on ebay but they have more miles on the odometer than mine has. If I buy one, will it revert back to my original miles or will I be stuck with a car that shows more miles than it actual has??? Thanks for eveyones help..

Unless you have a machine to re-program the miles, it will show more. Plus you will have to get the new cluster programmed to the car anyway to have it sync with the PATS security system. You cant just put a new cluster in now a days.

correct - but you can swap the len off the e-bay cluster back onto yours - once you have the cluster out - you can take the lens off.

You may want to check with Lincoln and see if the lens is available separately. I have seen that on other cars from Ford...and it makes sense.

By the way...when you disconnect the cluster, you have to be very careful about the procedure you use. I would PM Quik...I think he knows just exactly how to properly do it. If it's done wrong, the car won't start and you have to have it towed to the dealer for programming.
