Hello, I searched the threads here looking for confirmation that the 2000-2001 3.9 will swap into my 2002. I know that the 03 has VVT and will NOT work. A parts search separates the 00-01 engine from the 02 calling it one year only. As I understand it, there are just a couple sensors that need to be swapped to make the 00-01 3.9's work in the 02. My question is this. Before I buy a 00-01 engine for my 02, can anyone confirm this information to be correct? If anyone here has made this conversion, any details would be greatly appreciated.
