03 Headlights

quick question here guys do the 03 and up headlight fit the 00-02 cus if you notice the area around the actual headlight lamp is darker than the 00-02's headlight and i think it looks sooo much better here take a look.....ill post pictures later on beause the CABLE INTERNET THAT I PAY 45 BUCKS A MONTH FOR IS SLOW AS :q

2k2ls ordered the 03-05 HID lights, and they do fit, but he had to order some kind of harness or something. look for a post titled "HID lights off Ebay" ...

yeah, those newer lights are sharp!!

The 2003-2005 headlights will fit the early year LS's but you will need to buy the lower support bracket so they will fit. Also, new wiring harnesses will be needed as well. I'd say that retrofit could be done anywhere from $300-$500 depending on where you got the parts.

YOWSA!!! the retrofit ALoNE is $300-500.... or are you talking about the lights, plus the retrofit???

Yep. However, if you go to the dealer get all new stuff just double that number! You can get the bracket for around $150 or so. The trick is finding the headlights. HID's would be better if you were doing this mod. Definitely look around for pricing on those headlights. There are deals to be had on those.

hopefully I could post the how to on the install this weekend along with the clear pictures of the finished product. Man that mod changed the way the car looked. Its so noticable. Your gonna spend at least $500.00 depending where you get the lights from. I got real lucky on ebay. thanks to the lvc forum!!!!!!

If Ford parts network ever sends my replacement bracket, I'll have my upgrade done next week. The prices break down like this.
I found 1 HID light for 120 on ebay. A few months later I found another for 150. '03 headlight mount panel from FPN ran me 170 shipped. I'm having a friend of mine do the wiring, so that will probably only cost me a 6-pack of beer lol. So, the total cost was about $450-500.
