Had a bad DCCV on my LS as one side had cold air and one side had hot. Now after replacing the DCCV only heat is working and I am getting the following codes now. b2799 b2797 b1242

Was gonna check to make sure it was not any blown fuses in the morning but is there anything else that I should check out? Obviously I know it could be a bad wire someplace or even a bad DATC (less likely I think though)

Most of the coolant system had been replaced on this car in the last 2-3 years expect for the aux water pump and the DCCV. And just replaced the DCCV today. (I am pretty sure it's not the Aux water pump based on the codes I am seeing) And it was OEM as I bought it from the ford the Dealership instead of having to order it.

Yes, it could be the DCCV/aux pump/AC clutch fuse. If not, is it possible you didn't get the DCCV connector fully seated?

B1242, of course, is not related. It can be a pain to resolve, especially if that little plastic push rod is broken. On the plus side, it doesn't really make much difference in operation.

OK, Thanks @joegr! B1242 does that involve pulling the dash out by any chance? I have not gotten that far into researching that code. But I had 0 codes on the car until after I replaced the DCCV. Just kinda scared to research it being I already have to drop almost $2,000 into a transmission rebuild after buying this car less than one month ago from a dealership. Any idea on the cost to fix that one code if it can be a pain to fix?

And yep indeed it was Fuse 1 under the hood on the passenger's side of the car. If it happens again then will have to dig into it with a paid shop. Also after clearing the codes after the fuse was replaced the one other code is now gone and now just the u1262 and p1000 (but p1000 expected since I cleared the codes out). And now if i run the test of the DATC I see the same thing from this post.
Problem with climate system
This is not my picture however it does the same exact thing.

Is this normal?

Yes, normal. That's what happens when there are no problems found. It's so you can verify that the display fully works.
If B1242 went away, you are okay for now. It just means that actuator is a little marginal. Most of them are by now. I pay a little more attention to that one, since if it fails the wrong way, it will break the plastic rod that connects the two doors (fresh air and recycle). I don't know of any source for that rod. I think you can replace that actuator without removing the dash.

So should I look into replacing that actuator and if so please link me to the correct part number, please!

That's up to you. I've been listening to some of my actuators as the DATC has them wiggle to unstick the air doors for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, I'm now on the very low maintenance plan, as I am about ready to change cars.

The part number is YW4Z-19E616-AA. It is discontinued, of course. Tasca may still have some, or maybe they haven't updated their website. Here's one on eBay: Genuine Ford Door Actuator YW4Z-19E616-AA | eBay

Thanks! I just went ahead and picked that one up as it showed it was the last one. Figured might as well grab it while I can since OEM parts are harder to find these days. I will go ahead and have that replaced to be on the safe side. And I am trying to take care of this car since it is in such good shape. And there sure are less and less clean LS's on the road each passing day.
