Hey guys, I did some searching but can't seem to find a straight answer. I have an 03 Navi Ultimate. The other night "check suspension" comes on the on board screen. The next time we start it and drive, the front airbags are not pumped up. It is sitting on the rails and bouncing like a riced out Civic! It is driving the wife nuts. She stopped by parts store after it happened and they checked the fuses. All the fuses are ok, and they tried the reset button. I know there is a relay for the air bags, and then the compressor. The back is still up.

Which has most likely gone bad...the relay or the compressor?? How expensive are the parts for both? I'll fix it myself but don't want to just buy parts and throw $$ at it.

Thanks for any help.

I'd suggest you poke around and listen and feel for a leak somewhere.
Maybe the vent is stuck open or a line popped out.

Just the other day, the dryer on my air compressor froze and the increased air pressure caused it to pop out of the compressor assembly. I too found myself driving my Lincoln (a Mark VIII in this case) down the road with the front end slammed on the ground.

So, start by trying to find where the air is escaping from.
If the compressor is coming on, the front is slammed, and the rear is in the air still, I'm inclined to think you have a leak somewhere .
