Hello

I am new to the forum, but i have lurked around for awhile.

I own a 1995 mark viii lsc, but my new baby is a 2004 LS.

I have to say i love the cooled seat function!!!! and the touch screen is cool too. But almost nothing beats that cooled seat...man, new meaning to chillin' ;)

Car has no mufflers, which is okay, but i asked the guy if he had the stock mufflers (when i thought it had an exhaust) and he was telling me they came this way:rolleyes:....it sounds okay, but honestly i would rather it sounded more tuned...Cobra mufflers may be in order...those are fairly quiet until you get on em.

Cars previous owner was a detective, so it was kinda taken care of by the county, but im having some trouble with two coils so i just said Forget buying one or two at a time ($80ea for motorcraft in my town or like $45 online, which is still ~$100 for two), ill just buy 8 visteon replacements shipped to my door for $200:D. Alls i need now is a good spark plug to replace the motorcrafts (which are new but i might as well), and i have read good things on this board about ngk iridium ix plugs. which are fairly comprable in price to motorcraft platinums. I can get em for like $50 with a $10 mail-in rebate.

LOL, i was wondering if anyone would see that...

The previous owner put some sort of wrap on the cup holder and other trim. And to do that he broke off the ebrake and glued it back with hot glue...that doesnt work very well :shifty: i broke it...

i am in the process of fixing that. idk what glue to use but obviously an epoxy or something a bit stronger than super glue or hot glue.

The traction button is removed to make room for the phone charger. but the button is under the cupholder...so ill glue that back into place as well...

also, i just vacuumed it. but what am i supposed to do, wear protective booties over my shoes when inside my car? (those things comcast people wear when they come into your house) because i totally think thats a good idea.

I don't mind getting the inside dirty as long as I can clean it. The wrap itself doesn't look that bad. May just have to get a new ebrake toggle switch.

Well I screwed the ebrake back into place, luckily two screws in the traction control button were available...but I don't have a way to get the traction control back into place without glue. The screws look like they were ripped out breaking the plastic....(thanks previous owner....) I'll post up another pic with everything where it goes, and vaccumed!
