Just bought an '05 LS for the wife, and have to say I love the way this car handles. Not to mention how peppy this thing is for a 6 banger.
I was mildly surprised to learn that the engine has variable cam timing, and a near perfect 50-50 weight distribution on the chassis which is optimal for running through some twisty's
My question is, are there any performance mods/parts for these engines that might make a noticable difference?
I've been a GM person all my life and my personal ride is a C5 Corvette. The only reason I bought the lincoln is because that's what the wife wanted. And everyone knows what mom wants, mom gets, or momma ain't happy.
Anyway, I can't leave anything under the hood alone. I 'm the kind of person that has to know how stuff works, and see if can I improve on it somehow.
So if anyone here has some ideas on these engines, or knows where to get some info on them I'd appreciate it. Chassis/suspension mods would be welcome as well. So far a google search has turned up nill on 'em.
