1-2 / 2-3 Shift Accumalator

If these were bad, would this be causing my car to not want to switch into over drive? The car drives fine with the over drive shut off. Any Help would be appreciated.

Car Has 117k Miles, Its a 93 with a 4.6L

If so where can i get these parts.

No, they do not affect overdrive. Sounds like your OD band might be burned up.

so i just need to replace the whole tranny?
