i was reading the FAQ's over on llsoc, and it mentioned a ten pin connector for the amp on the audiophile equipped cars. supposedly it is present in non-equipped cars as well. can i just splice my 4 channel amp into that harness, or do i still have to have the amp installed separate? if so...i will need a line out converter, does that mean that wires have to be run from each speaker to the trunk?

it'll be better to install it seperately, you'll need a bigger power wire depending on how many watts your amp is. new ground, rcas, the line out converter should be spliced into your rear speakers, i wouldnt recommend splicing into the harness...
