Had fun at Westhampton Raceway yesterday .
Finally got a time with the NOS working.

I ran a couple of low 14's- high 13's WITHOUT the juice first.

Best time on the bottle was a
12.815 @105.86 mph.
Man as soon as I dipped in the 12's people were all over me asking about the car.

Best of all I got 25.7 MPG overall doing around 75-80 MPH with my 4:10's.
I fell in love with this car all over again today !!

I owe a big thanks to Geno for "hooking up" my HOT ROD LINCOLN

I'll post the slips when I can get them scanned. :nos:

excellent times with and without the juice :Beer

How big was the shot you were using and how soon did you use it. What was your "window" settings. I assume a dry shot? How bout the rpms/gear at the finish line with the 4:10's?Nice numbers.

Wow.... and just from the looks, it looks like your everyday stock Mark VIII. I'd love to see what a corvette owner or mustang SVT Cobra owner would be thinking when you pull up to them at a stoplight and release that inner demon...

Thanx,
125 shot dry.
Don't know the rpms I never looked at the tach,
just kept it in drive with o/d off.
Spray it about 10 feet out of the hole.

That is one of the reasons I love the car so much,
nobody expects anything from it.
I have trouble getting people to race me.
They just look at me and think "look at this old d@#khead in the Lincoln".
I am running the stock exsaust too !

I love your sig pic. The way that thing is squatting. And with the stock exhaust? Not bad numbers. I agree with Geno. Get in to his shop and get some breathers.

Are the 4:10's all they are really cracked up to be?

What kind of gas do you guys get out there? In the Midwest we get the corn crap and I swear it costs up to 3 mpg. Just trying to compare same fuels. Our crap has the 10% ethanol that cost us at least 15% in mileage. But hey, the EPA says we run 5% cleaner with it. Go figure. Do the math.

The 4:10's are a must.
It will totally feel like a different car.
I'm getting avg of 18 mpg city (ny city)
and almost 27 mpg hwy cruising 75-80 mph @ 25-2600 rpm.
(if I don't beat on it )
The LMS chip actually gave me 2-3 mpg more.

BTW we have that 10% corn crap here too,
but I havn't really noticed that much of a difference in MPG

Holy thread resurection!!
At the time he made those passes all he had was 4.10's, our maf kit and ICEBOX cia, MSD wires, 255 lph pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I believe thats it. Stock exhaust, stock trans and converter too.

Yea, I just realized that. It's a toughy; 4.10's and ported Cobra Intake manifold (all the other things that are needed along with that) or some beautiful 18" rims... It's soo hard to decide, but I also just bought new BFGoodrich G-Force KDW tires for my stocks, so I may just have to wait a year or so for the rims...

It's a tough one... I'm just gonna save up all this money and flip a coin. We'll see.

thats why i get free used tires, that way im not loseing money buying new tires and then buying a biger rim, plus more reason to do burn outs

Also note he went a few high 13 second runs with just our chip, maf, pump and regulator along with 4.10's.

Ok, fine. Performance it is...

Jerks. LOL. :joke

Yea, I made a big mistake on buyin these WAY overpriced tires. Now I need to put down some nice power to actually use em. :Bang
