12 Peice Front Supension kit Anyone Used this one??

Ok what does that mean???

Just that the parts are used and not new; except for the lower ball joint. In stock UCAs the ball joint isn't replaceable. The new UCA that Ford sells does have a replaceable ball joint.

I was just pointing that out. If you're fine with the used parts go for it. I would investigate the seller thoroughly......

Does appear that all the joints are new??

why do you think the parts are used? to me it all looks like new non-oem parts. they are just pressing the ball joints into the control arms that came from china separate...

Looked to me like there was some smudges on the knuckle. Plus he says "like new" which says used to me. Were they new, why would the ball joints need replacing??

never saw it say "like new" but I did catch just "new" five times.

don't know why the ball joint isn't pressed in, maybe it does come pressed in and the seller is just trying to "add value"

Next to "shipping" under the price it says New Condition. I read that to be like or as new. I could be wrong. Looks like a good price but I wouldn't trust Chinese cast aluminum parts; but that's just me......

The only part that comes sans ball joint is the steering knuckle.

But couldn't they possibly be refurbished OEM ford parts for the arms and such?

In the Benz forums, this is what one poster said about this brand:

I would not risk all that time on a $28 part that could leave you stranded.
The VW forum guys want to burn the Vollig offices down. The parts are junk.

In the Bimmer forums, someone listed some links of comments of parts made by this supplier:

Most of those links no-worky.......

so what does posting reveiws about a completely different product tell us about these parts?

by my calculations, almost 20% of the reviews are as low rated as possible

and over a quarter of the reviews are a three or below which means that they weren't happy with the product they received...

didn't see one of the 5 stars say anything about how long those parts will last, and thats what you really have to worry about with brand of parts.

It may or may not matter but a few years ago I bought a kit for my minivan from eBay. Seemed to good to be true. New control arms with ball joint. Inner and outer tie rod ends for $70. Within 1000 miles I had 1 bad ball joint. 1 bad control arm bushing and 1 bad inner tie rod end. Is it worth all the work to do it again in 1000 miles?
